Originally I worked as a PE teacher and so have always been aware of the importance of exercise and nutrition having overcome a number of health problems from my early youth. When it came to food sensitivities, I had to learn the hard way, as I was intolerant to many foods from my early teens. The experience of overcoming these issues led me into a journey of discovery and the desire to share my knowledge with others.
I believe in the old adage: We are what we eat. During my nutritional therapy practice over the past 2 decades, I have seen that the main ways we can achieve good health are:
I believe that balance is the key in all areas of our lives and that physical health is a reflection of many things including emotional and mental well being. Life is a journey and each issue that arises can be seen as a challenge to overcome or as an opportunity for growth. I am of the latter camp!
